The five pointed star or pentagram is an ancient symbol that has been used by many different cultures and civilizations throughout history and has had many different meanings and associations. In the past it has represented many different things including astrological signs or planets, the five wounds of Christ and the five elements (though the specific elements represented differ between Eastern and Western beliefs).
Today, the pentacle (the five pointed star within a circle) is most commonly associated with modern Paganism and is often meant to represent the elements of earth, air, fire, water and spirit with the circle representing the connection between them. It is typically used as a symbol of protection and to ward off negative energy or entitites.
Each of these wire pentacles are hand-crafted with nickel-free wire. They are approximately 1" in diameter. As they are hand-crafted and made-to-order, some variation will occur. Please allow up to two weeks turnaround time.
